Be patient with commenting though. It's really hard when you start writing because you want everyone to leave their thoughts. I didn't start getting comments until about 3-4 months of writing at least 5 times a week. (A couple here and there in month two.) It takes time for people to find your blog. Family and friends don't realize that they can use the anonymous feature to leave the comment, etc. Hope that helps. It's a frustrating process but if you like blogging and stick with it, the comments will come!!
I would also take off word capture. Go to settings, comments, scroll to the bottom, click "no" for "show word verification for comments". I get about 1500 page views a day and get very little spam to no spam without it on. It's just one other step people get frustrated with when leaving comments.

Thanks. Will do. I did not know it was on. I had to go into the old interface to change it. I hope to change my template soon too.
